Supporting your child

Supporting your Child

Being a parent is one of the most important jobs there is. It is also one of the hardest. Here at Leighton Academy we will do our best to support both your child and the family when things get tricky. But, we are aware that there are times when help is needed outside of our skills set. We have put together this comprehensive list of services which may be useful if such a situation arises.

I would like to share with you the attached leaflet which details an advice line run by The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in the Cheshire area.  The advice line is open to everyone (children, young people, relatives etc) and allows people to talk to a mental health professional if they are concerned or would like advice about a young person’s mental health.

The advice line runs from 5-10pm (Mon-Fri) and 12 – 8pm (Saturday and Sunday).

The Advice Line Number is 01244 397644.

The attached leaflet provides more information.
