Attendance

Reporting Pupil Absence

If your child is absent from school, you must notify Leighton Academy each day of absence either by phone, (01270) 814016, or via email, admin@leighton.cheshire.sch.uk.

Leighton Academy actively supports parents with their child's attendance in order to ensure children have the best possible outcomes from their education, both academically and emotionally.

Higher attendance at school has proven outcomes for children’s social and emotional growth, relationships with others alongside academic progress.
