Hot Dinners
Leighton Academy has signed up to the School Food Plan. All school meals offered to the children meet the requirements of the new food standards regulations.
All reception, year 1 and year 2 children are eligible for a free school meal. If your child requires a hot school meal, please pay on our online system (Arbor). https://leighton-academy.uk.arbor.sc/?/home-ui/index School meals are priced at £2.45 per day.

Advanced notice: From 1st September 2025, school meals will be £2.75 per day.
Packed Lunches
Please label your child’s lunchbox clearly in a lunchbox that they can easily open and close. Please try and provide a healthy and balanced lunch that they will enjoy. Please do not be tempted to overfill your child’s lunchbox as this can be daunting for a child. For ideas for healthy lunches check out this website: http://www.eatwell.gov.

Water
Children have access to water at all times and every child has a water bottle in school.
